Cichlid Energy’s HSE policy is critical to the achievement and sustainability of the long-term goals of the company. The Company adopts a zero-tolerance approach to non-compliance to the policy which is in line with global standards. There is an HSE-MS in place with key performance indicators which are constantly monitored and evaluated to ensure compliance by staff and contractors.

The policy is principally directed at the prevention of injury to Staff and Service Providers, the damage to facility and environment, considering legal requirements and statutory regulations with respect to health, safety and environment.

The objectives of the policy are as follows:

Cichlid Energy will comply with the applicable regulations within its operations while appropriate industry standards will be applied to enhance best practices.
Cichlid Energy will stress to all employees, vendors and others working on its behalf their responsibility and accountability for safe performance on the job and require safe behavior, provide adequate and appropriate resources to implement this policy and ensure its property communicated and understood.
Cichlid Energy will implement controls to eliminate pollution and environmental harm and also provide training and resources for all categories of staff to promote their competence and to maintain safe systems of work.
Cichlid Energy will adequate medical services to all employees
