Cichlid Energy recognizes the host community as an integral part of the enterprise and is desirous of maintaining an excellent relationship with the communities in places it operates. The company acknowledges its responsibilities and obligations to the community and is committed to investing in development projects that enhances social cohesion and economic empowerment.

The policy seeks to accomplish the following objectives:

1) Identify the critical social needs of the community and implement specific programs that will improve social standards.
2) Identify structural gaps in the community and invest in projects to bridge such gaps.
3) Recognize the culture and rights of the host communities where we operate and comply with the law and regulations as applicable.
4) Promote and ensure effective communication, dialogue and a healthy relationship with the community.
